James Emery joined Iredale Architecture in 1997 and became a Principal in 2000. He provides consulting services for all levels of government and private organizations, encompassing a diverse body of work. He has demonstrated expertise in infrastructure design and urban planning; commercial buildings and tenant improvements; heritage restoration and rehabilitation projects; and civic and cultural projects. He is also skilled at multi-stakeholder consultation, issue identification and problem solving.
James strongly believes in the collaborative process and through his experience, understands that stakeholder buy-in is critical to a project’s success. James is an effective listener, an engaged participant, and a clear communicator of Client intent. He takes responsibility to not only meet Stakeholder needs, but to exceed expectations within the typical life safety and budget constraints of any project.
