Michael van Bakel largely focuses on educational, civic and institutional projects. With over 20 years of experience in the architectural industry, his expertise encompasses all project phases, with an emphasis on project management, technical coordination, and construction administration.
Since joining Iredale Architecture in 2012, Michael has led projects ranging from $5M to $25M, including numerous renovations and seismic upgrades to occupied facilities requiring fast-track design services and phased construction. His broad skillset is particularly valuable in assessing the constructability of buildings and finding practical solutions for successful project delivery.
