Halloween Brightens Soup Kitchen
In October 30, Iredale sponsored a dinner at First United Church on East Hastings in Vancouver. Iredale Architecture covered the costs so approximately 250 people in need could receive a nutritious meal. In addition to partner Peter Hildebrand, a group of Iredale staff were on hand to serve and clear the meals.
To make it a real holiday treat, Iredale staff transformed the meal into a Halloween party. The décor was directed by Iredale architect and interior designer Tina Mathur, and the meals were served by cowboys and cowgirls. As guests left, they were given a Jack o’ Lantern treat and a hot drink, served from an oversize smoking cauldron.
