This Bank of Montreal branch opened on Burrard Street in 1974 with an elegant glass pavilion as its public front door and banking hall. Years later, the public services were moved to the basement concourse and the pavilion was converted into office space. We worked with BMO to restore the pavilion to its former presence and to renovate the concourse. The pavilion redesign features a sweeping curved counter line and an open banking hall with extensive natural light. The concourse incorporates innovative features that raise the standards for banking offices.
