VCH OPERATIONAL STRESS INJURY CLINICÂ Victoria, BC
This tenant improvement project involved the upgrade of an existing building floor to accommodate a new operational stress injury clinic. The key design goal was to achieve a relaxing and healing environment for patients to receive treatment, which we achieved by using principles of trauma-informed design. The program included a new reception and waiting area, client assessment counter, administration office, safe interview room, quiet room, group therapy room with capacity for 10 clients and 12 new clinician offices. The clinic also included a staff break room/kitchenette, storage rooms and washrooms. We provided complete architectural services from Schematic Design through to Construction Administration.
