SQUAMISH ADVENTURE CENTRE Squamish, BC

This landmark visitor centre is situated along the Sea-to-Sky Highway between Vancouver and Whistler. The Centre’s dramatic curving roof structure was designed to draw visitors’ eyes upwards to the scenic mountain range of the region. Primarily constructed of sustainably sourced local Douglas-fir, the structure comprises over 1,000 uniquely shaped timber elements. The Centre serves as a venue for conferences and events, and features an exhibit hall, café and lounge, and assembly area that can accommodate up to 250 guests.
