PROTOTYPE FIRE STATIONS FOR INDIAN & NORTHERN AFFAIRS

Indian and Northern Affairs Canada commissioned Iredale Group to develop a prototype fire station that could be constructed anywhere in British Columbia. The first step was a review of the operational procedures of efficiently functioning fire halls. Following that, we designed a durable and efficient fire station that can rapidly and cost-effectively be built in remote sites. The first of these prototypes, located near Merritt, was recently completed.
